Pleats, Prints, And Luxe Leather: Our Favorite Bag Line For Spring

With the holidays coming up and our travel schedules all booked, we've been on the hunt for a bag that will trudge on the trains, planes, and city blocks right along with us. So, when we came across Collina Strada's ah-maz-ing spring '12 line, our only tinge of pain was knowing that the bags won't hit stores till February. The collection serves up duffles, briefcases, over-the-shoulder bags, small pouches, backpacks, and even holsters whose quality and design just won't quit. They're definitely lady-like, but also appropriately structural; And, with Navajo prints, triangular pleats, and leathers in sand, cherry, and blueberry hues, the bags are also fun and unique without being flashy. Okay, okay, we know we sound obsessed, but we're not the only ones. In just a few months, the collection will be carried in more than 20 stores, including Love Adorned, Cloak and Dagger, and Eva NY, just to name a few. We're calling it now, kids: With pouches starting at $100 and bags at $250, these are the ones to grab for spring '12, everyone will be wanting them or rocking them... Okay, maybe not everyone, but us at least, and that's all that matters, right?
