How To Shop For A Cause In S.F.

As you might have noticed from all the shades of pink scattered about town, the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign is back in full effect for the month of October. And to celebrate the worthy cause, we’ve rounded up a bevy of local shopping events and products devoted to this important message.
First up, Berkeley-based designer Melissa Joy Manning is hawking a striking gold bracelet featuring the iconic breast cancer ribbon. Profits, naturally, will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Meanwhile, Presidio Heights boutique Luna is hosting its very own BCA shopping extravaganza (with cupcakes and massages!) all day long on Saturday, October 8th, with 15% of all sales going to the Susan G. Komen foundation. And all month long, folks headed to the Premium Outlets in Napa and Petaluma can score 25% off any single item when they donate $10 to the breast cancer cause.
