Round-Table Lunch With Bi-Rite's Sam Mogannam

Just thirty five minutes outside the city, you'll find the gorgeous Ram's Gate Winery. Join Sam Mogannam who helms Mission fave Bi-Rite Market in this Sonoma spot for an outdoor lunch, walking tour, and Q&A session. He'll cover hot topics on everything from responsible and organic cooking to local food shopping. Each ticket comes with a garden tour of Ram's Gate Winery, a lunch reception, two glasses of wine, and a copy of Mogannam's new book, Bi-Rite Market’s Eat Good Food: A Grocer’s Guide to Shopping, Cooking, & Creating Community through Food. Food Truck Frenzy 6: The Return of Neptune Beach

Alameda Flea Market may be over, but there's another reason to return to the lovely East Bay stomping grounds. Three words: Monster food trucks. Taking place at Rock Wall Wine’s 40,000-square-foot winery, the best Bay Area food trucks will all come together for a festive vintage-carnival-themed bash! Just remember to hit up the ATM on your way, as most trucks only accept cold, hard cash.

West Shore Café 2nd Annual Cocktail Contest

The West Shore Café in Tahoe is on the hunt for a new signature mojito. Could you have the winning concoction? If so, submit your go-to recipe (you have until tomorrow). The top ten cocktail mixtures will have a big taste test by everyone who attends the event Saturday. We'll take any excuse to head to Lake Tahoe for a getaway! And with the promise of sampling some never-before-tried mojitos, we're so game!

This Thursday, peep all the vintage statement pieces featured in The Factory's Dior: A Life in Pictures, curated by local dealer Sasha Maks Vintage. You'll also get to shop all baubles and clothing while sipping on tasty libations. Score!

A'Bout Design Corp Meet and Greet At Carrots

If sleek, streamlined threads are your forte, then don’t miss your chance to rub elbows with designers Dean Hutchinson and Yunchieh Chang of a'bout design corp. The duo will be at Carrots this Wednesday through Friday as they preview the summer and pre-fall '12 collections.
