UPDATE: We got the scoop from Rashida's hairstylist, Rob Talty, on how he created her fishtail braid! Scroll down to get the deets.
Is it us, or does Rashida Jones get prettier by the minute? Between her glowing skin, hazel eyes, and perfectly piece-y bangs, our girl crush on Ms. Jones just never stops (and after seeing the Harvard cutie in her self-penned comedy Celeste and Jesse Forever, we'd say we're definitely stalkers fans for life). Just in time for hump-day weekend planning, Jones debuted a trendy-yet-pretty look at the Elle Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills that we're dying to try out. We got the scoop from Mark Cosmetics celebrity makeup artist Jamie Greenberg on exactly how to get her dramatic eyeliner and peachy glow.

Greenberg started by applying Got the Goods Multi-Benefit Foundation Lotion SPF 15 in Medium 8 to even out her already-gorgeous bronze complexion. The key to that otherworldly glow? A combination of Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder and Light Show Illuminating Face Powder were applied all over the face. Last but not least, Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Peachy was swirled onto the cheeks.
For her sexy, modern-Cleopatra stare, Greenberg applied I-Mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Biscotti all over the lid, followed by Nightly and Galactic on the outsides of the eyes to create an elongated effect. Along the top lash line Greenberg applied Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Surreal (a deep navy), while underneath the eye, she placed No Place to Run Longwear Eyeliner in Indigo Girl. Finally, those lush lashes got a coat of Lash Act Build and Define Mascara to add that extra hotness factor. As a finishing touch, Greenberg applied Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Toasty for a chic, shiny-nude lip.
And how about that hair? Rashida's hairstylist, Rob Talty, created what might as well be the world's most perfect fishtail braid. Talty prepped Rashida's hair with Rene Furturer Okara Activating Mist to add shine and moisture, then created a fishtail braid (need a refresher on fishtails? You're welcome). Once the braid was complete, he pulled it apart "just enough to add a little more volume, and make sure it wasn't too 'neat' or perfect." The finished look got a spritz of Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray for added texture. The result: a tousled-yet-shiny braid that we're dying to try out for our dinner date tonight!
Are you digging Rashida's look as much as we are?
