Kids from the '90s should have known better. Only so many tweets could be sent waxing poetic about rewinding the ancient VHS on December 1st. And only so many posts calling it the best Christmas flick ever could be written before Hollywood executives decided to see just how much millennials would shell out to relive a festive piece of our childhood. Yes, Home Alone is coming back to theaters. To celebrate the classic film's 25th anniversary, it will be showing in select theaters on November 8th and November 11th. Showtimes are at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., which science has proven as the peak times of day for twentysomethings to realize their childhood is over, and no amount of Disney marathons will return them to 1995. If you decide to check out Macaulay Culkin's famous screech on the big screen, be prepared for nostalgic sighs. Tickets are on sale now, and they're the perfect Christmas gift for the person who tried to ruin the film for you last year by pointing out adorable little Kevin was attempting to murder the home invaders. And for the full experience, remember to skip the popcorn in favor of a plain cheese pizza, and eat it all by yourself.
