Taco Bell Is Giving Us The Keys To The Kitchen

Taco Bell just launched a new website called ta.co that lets you order your food in advance. The fast-food chain already had mobile order and pay (where you order in advance and pick up your food) from a phone app, but the new site lets you do this from a computer or tablet, too. If you're currently thinking, why do I care? — that's exactly what we thought, at first. But then we read further down the press release, and it appears that, for the first time ever, Taco Bell is letting customers completely customize its menu via online ordering. Basically, Taco Bell just gave us the keys to the kitchen. (Except we won't actually be doing any cooking.) Fans will be able to personalize every single order and ultimately create orders that have never even been on the menu. “Innovation has always been a part of Taco Bell’s core, and ta.co is our latest promise to make the brand accessible whenever, wherever, and however consumers want it,” explained Taco Bell CEO Brian Niccol in a press release. We can't really think of any combinations that are kookier than the chain's current offerings (how does one top Doritos Locos Tacos or the AM Crunch Wrap?). But we're sure some really hungry stoners will find a way.
