Did they plan it this way? On the same day we learned that Adam Brody and wife Leighton Meester welcomed their baby, Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin confirmed that they're expecting, too. Awww, it seems like only yesterday that ne'er-do-well Ryan was caught stealing a car in Chino, and a friendly DA took him home to live in the O.C. Congrats to the Cohen family (who still totally exist, right?)! While we're still waiting to hear official word from the actors' reps, E! Online reports that the birth of baby Brody has been confirmed. The Gossip Girl star kept her pregnancy on the DL for quite some time, not even talking when those inevitable baby bump pics began popping up in May. Gotham co-stars Baccarin and McKenzie (whose on-screen characters are also a thing), haven't even publicly confirmed their relationship, according to Us Weekly. This is the first child for Meester and Brody. It's also the first for McKenzie — not counting that baby Theresa secretly had — oh, wait, fiction. Baccarin has a 23-month-old son named Julius with her ex-husband, Austin Chick. The world has already been blessed with Summer's...sorry, Rachel Bilson's Disney princess Briar Rose, so is it too early to mark our calendars for The O.C.: The Next Generation? We can wait until 2030, we don't mind.
