These days, the Duggar family last name carries a lot of unwelcome baggage. That's something Amy Duggar doesn't have to worry about since she was married to fiancé Dillon King on Sunday.
"I can't wait to change my name," the newlywed Duggar told People, prior to the wedding. "It's going to be a great day when Dillon signs that marriage license and my last name changes." The now Mrs. King has embarked on a career as a country singer, and is the niece of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, stars of 19 Kids and Counting. The show was canceled in July following allegations of their son Josh Duggar's sexual abuse. More recently, Josh publicly admitted to cheating and a pornography addiction after his name was publicized as part of the Ashley Madison hack, and has since moved to a Christian rehab facility. Despite the family controversy, many of the 19 Kids Duggar clan turned out to celebrate Amy's big day in Bentonville, Arkansas. In addition to Jim Bob and Michelle, Amy's older cousins, Jessa and Jill, as well as their younger sisters Johanna, Jordyn, Jennifer and Josie were in attendance. Josh's wife Anna was also there with her four children, including 5-year-old Mackynzie, who was a flower girl. The nuptial festivities may not have been enough to distract Anna away from her own troubled marriage, as Entertainment Tonight reported that she looked "somber" during the ceremony. Meanwhile, Amy wore a satin gown with a sweetheart neckline by Essense of Australia. After the barnyard reception, the new husband and wife reportedly rode off into the Arkansas countryside on a motorcycle. In light of the unsavory publicity lately, Amy seemed thrilled to not only be getting married, but to also give her sprawling family something to celebrate. "My family is so important to me," she told People.
