Dakota Fanning Copped Alexa Chung’s Style

Clearly, impeccable style and ‘70s references run in the Fanning family. Case in point: This week, Dakota was spotted in Beverly Hills absolutely nailing it in a perfect I-just-threw-this-together-rushing-out-the-door-and-I-look-amazing end of summer outfit. Now, one amateur move and her light top and jean skirt outfit could have easily come across as a basic and too blue. But of course, the young Hollywood veteran skillfully accessorized her outfit, stepping into standout street style territory.
Now first, let’s point out that Fanning put her sartorial stamp of approval on Alexa Chung’s retro-inspired design collaboration with AG by wearing the A-line, button-front Kety skirt. She paired the denim with a blue chambray sleeveless top in a similar swingy silhouette. To complement the ‘70s throwback combo, she opted for studded clog sandals in a neutral caramel. To bring the whole look back to 2015, she accessorized with a matching suede Proenza Schouler PS1. Finally, her super funky, blue oversize shades with mirrored red lenses brought in an effortless burst of color. Also of note, Dakota and younger sis Elle probably own the best collection of denim skirts in the biz.
