The chain will offer gratis small Slurpees between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. at participating locations. In celebration of the chain's 88th birthday, it's also offering special rewards deals with select beverage purchases through July 18. "7-Eleven Day is a celebration, not only of our birthday, but more importantly, of our customers," declared Laura Gordon, 7-Eleven vice president of marketing and brand innovation, in a press release. We're going to take the freebie opportunity to try 7-Eleven's latest flavor, inspired our favorite childhood candy.
