Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis don't shy away from the politics of parenting. While pregnant with the couple's now-five-month-old daughter, Wyatt Isabelle, Kunis appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live in a comic (but also completely serious) PSA admonishing men who use the phrase "We're pregnant!" (Kunis' response: No, you're not, dude.) Kutcher, for his part, took to Facebook on Sunday to lament the lack of diaper-changing tables in men's public restrooms.

The man has a point. As The Huffington Post points out, Kutcher's not the first person to express his frustration over restrooms that are designed on the assumption that women, not men, change their children's diapers. In one notable example last year, California dads rallied behind the "Potty Parity for Parents Act," which would have required establishments that offer changing tables in women's restrooms to offer them in men's restrooms as well. (Governor Jerry Brown shot down the bill).
Generally, "family restrooms" offer changing tables, and the crowdsourced "Changing Table Locator" directs dads to nearby stations. But, these solutions are few and far between. As gender roles shift and fathers take ever more active roles in child-rearing, it's high time public facilities started keeping pace.
We assume Mila stands with Ashton against the changing-table gap — especially since Wyatt's dad has taken on the role of resident diaper-changer with such enthusiasm.
