Two Members Of Nicki Minaj's Team Involved In Fatal Stabbing

Two members of Nicki Minaj's team were involved in a bar fight last night that left one dead and the other in critical condition.

Eric Parker and road and tour manager De'Von Pickett, better known as Day Day, were at Che Bar & Grill in Philadelphia. Philly's NBC10 reports that an argument that began inside moved out into the street where someone pulled a knife. Ambulances were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m.

Pickett, 29, was fatally wounded and Eric Parker, 27, remains in critical condition; Philadelphia chief inspector Scott Small told NBC10 they expect Parker to recover from his injuries. The suspect has yet to be identified, but is believed to be an employee of the bar.

Minaj has taken to social media to break the news to her fans. The two team members had been in Philly for just two days rehearsing for her upcoming tour. She and friend Fabulous have started the hashtag #RIPDAYDAY and are asking followers to keep Eric Parker in their thoughts. "Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy," Minaj said in an Instagram caption. "So sad."
