Its taken a week of listening to Taylor Swift's "Out Of The Woods" on repeat to figure out what it's missing. Sure, the chants and "ohs" in the background are nice. Jack Antonoff's production is blissful, sparkly pop perfection, but something about Swift's ode to anxious amour was lacking. And, that something was The Lion King.
Forgive us for not realizing Swift needed Simba sooner. It took Chambaland's (a.k.a New York-based remixer and comedian Dan Chamberlain) mashup of "Out Of The Woods" and "The Circle Of Life" to lift the veil from our eyes.
