Fans of American Horror Story are not only macabre and morbid, they're also super talented. How else can you explain this DIY teaser for the upcoming fourth season? When it dropped this weekend, everyone just assumed that it was the official first teaser for American Horror Story: Freak Show. It was just that good. However, FX confirmed today that the haunting clip was actually fan-made.
But, don't let the words "fan" and "made" fool you. The production value on the clip is so good that Ryan Murphy and company have a lot to live up to when our first look at the new iteration of AHS — about a 1950s Florida freakshow — is actually released.

The new season premieres in October, and will once again feature Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, Gabourey Sidibe, and Angela Bassett, as well as new troupe members Wes Bentley and Michael Chiklis.
