It seems that Hillary Clinton has yet another fan out there rooting for her 2016 presidential run: Katy Perry. The singer showed up at Clinton's book signing for Hard Choices on Friday and the two became fast friends. Perry even wants to get in on the campaign action with Clinton — she posted a picture from the event on Instagram with the caption, "I told @hillaryclinton that I would write her a 'theme' song if she needs it."
Well, the admiration goes both ways, because today Hil responded on Twitter with some of her signature wit and wordplay. "Well that's not a Hard Choice," she wrote. "You already did! Keep letting us hear you Roar." Presumably, Clinton is referring to the fact that the Ready For Hillary Super PAC used Perry's "Roar" in a promotional video for the possible campaign.
Now, it's possible that Hillary was just being a good sport, but it's certainly telling that she didn't shoot down Katy's reference to the potential campaign. Regardless, here's to more interactions between these awesome ladies, with or without a presidential run. (Vulture)
