The Internet is full of Wes Anderson parodies, but none as raunchy as this one. The Grand Sausage Pizza takes the classic delivery-boy porn, and reimagines it as a whimsical rhapsody about youth, romance, and sex-in-a-tent moments culled straight from the mind of everybody's favorite hipster auteur. All the Anderson tropes are here: tracking shots, symmetrical framing, handwritten notes, and a Jason Schwartzman look-alike.
Anderson has had quite a year, after his latest film The Grand Budapest Hotel became the highest-grossing effort of the 45-year-old's storied career. Despite relying on a lot of the same devices that have marked his films in the past, audiences show no signs of tiring of Anderson's formula. But, because his films are so immediately recognizable, it's also made them the easiest to parody. The most notable Anderson send-up was this slasher spoof courtesy of Saturday Night Live.
