Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Will Suggested His Son Skip Hollywood

The news of the untimely death of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman is still as jarring as ever. And, according to CNN, the late actor requested in his 13-page will that his son Cooper should stray far from Hollywood.
And, while San Francisco isn't necessarily buzzing with celebs, the ones that do dwell in the Northern parts of California seem to keep it pretty low-key. So, we could see why Hoffman suggested our fair city as a choice pick for his son. Hoffman advised his offspring be raised in S.F., Chicago, or (in or around) Manhattan — not too shabby of suggestions. The reason? Hoffman states in the will, "The purpose of this request is so that my son will be exposed to the culture, arts and architecture that such cities offer."
If living in either of these cities isn’t possible, Hoffman declared they must visit it at least once a year. We may be a little biased, but we don't think it gets much better than this 7x7 urban playground.
