Craigslist’s “Missed Connections” Is Brilliantly Parodied By Jimmy Kimmel And Alison Brie

Craigslist's "Missed Connections," everyone's favorite lonely hearts e-club, can be a real chuckle fest. Sure, a few lucky posters may actually catch the eye of their one true match, but most of those chance encounters at the local juice bar will fade into the ether, unrequited. Then there's the descriptions simply too oddball, or plain hilarious, to ignore. The Internet loves these. And so, it seems, does Jimmy Kimmel, who invited Community comedy siren Alison Brie on his show for a dramatic tribute to Craigslist's most entertaining romance seekers. Set to the smooth sounds of a saxophone, Kimmel and Brie slip into smoky, quiet storm mode, immortalizing a series of missed connections centering around exotic places like Subway and Cracker Barrel. "Gardner Walmart," Kimmel intones. "You went to the pet food aisle. This happened at 1:26. I know you think I was stalking you, but I was simply shopping in the same area as you. If this is you, I'd love to talk to you." Then, of course, there's "The Eagle River Glory Hole Couple," whose awkwardness mere print can do no justice. Watch Kimmel and Brie's hilarious skit in its entirety below.
