How's this for irony? We may have gotten to know Liv Tyler for her cameos as a bad girl in dad Steven Tyler's music videos, but her newest gig is exactly the opposite. The former angsty teen is now becoming one of the foremost experts in, you guessed it, etiquette. Tyler is taking a page out of her grandmother Dorothea Johnson's book, who just so happens to be a legendary etiquette professional.
The two teamed up for a new book, Modern Manners: Tools to Take You to the Top, and lifestyle blog Elizabeth Street is giving us the lowdown. Tyler and Johnson dish out advice for everything from hosting a fancy soiree to climbing the career ladder. They also give us plenty of dos and don'ts, like do keep party toasts short and simple.
