It's official: The third weekend in October is officially Boy Meets World weekend. Cue the nostalgic reruns, don your favorite old plaid shirt, and maybe grab a hanky, because the kids are all grown-up and married. Both Rider Strong and Danielle Fishel (a.k.a. Shawn Hunter and Topanga Lawrence) got married over these past two days.
No, they didn't marry each other. Strong hitched his BFF, Alexandra Barreto, and Fishel tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Tim Belusko. Her rep confirmed the news with People, saying the two shared a "short and sweet" ceremony in Los Angeles. Fishel has previously gushed about Belusko saying, "Tim is the one. He accepts me for exactly who I am!" She's also claimed they make a wacky traditional couple, but walking down the aisle to Brian Culbertson's "Forever" sounds, as her rep said, a little more traditional than wacky.
Maybe their vows were out-of-the-ordinary, though. We're thinking blast-from-the-past Topanga's yearbook-quote kind of wacky. Is there anything sweeter than imagining her saying "You are you, and I am I. And, in the end, if we end up together, it's beautiful" at the alter? No, no there isn't. (People)
