3D-printing has some pretty amazing applications. We can use it to make a little girl an exoskeleton, or to print guns and cute creatures based on children's drawings. But now, a more terrifying use has emerged: The 3D-printed, absolutely terrifying toothbrush.
The thing is based on the idea that taking an exact mold of your mouth, then 3D-printing a wacky toothbrush to fit its specifications exactly, will allow you to brush in an extremely efficient manner. In fact, the creators of the "Blizzident" claim you need only brush with this baby for six seconds to get a clean mouth.
Pretty wild. Plus, we're all for dental innovation, but you have to admit this thing looks a little...frightening. (The Verge)
