Last week, in between discussions for a new political talk show, Alec Baldwin was by his wife's side as they welcomed a baby girl into the world. While he and Hilaria are surely thrilled to have a new bundle of joy, they're not the only ones sharing in the thrill — Alec's oldest daughter Ireland is set to be the best big sister ever. To mark the occasion, she took to her Tumblr to post one of the most heartwarming sibling tributes we've ever read.
The up-and-coming model expressed her excitement for little Carmen Gabriela, and offered up sisterly advice on everything from dealing with the consequences of fame, to self-esteem and the opposite sex. Even though Ireland is only 17 herself, she proved that she's wise beyond her years, and ready to show the newest family member the ropes on the Baldwin clan.
While she kept the note generally lighthearted (even cracking a joke or two about their shared famous dad), she showed her sensitive side on the topic of body issues. "Just remember, the happiest girl in the room is the prettiest girl. By projecting your inner beauty, you will shine."
