At this stage in the summer game, you've probably had your fair share of barbecue — we'd like to raise our saucy hands in agreement. So, if your pulled pork and corn on the cob cookout is starting to become a bit drab, you're going to want to head to bellyQ this weekend.
On Saturday, August 17, chef Bill Kim is hosting a cooking class ($50 per person) that will teach you how to prepare a Korean barbecue-style picnic with watermelon salad, Korean barbecue short ribs, and "quick Kirby" kimchi — a refreshing alternative to coleslaw if we do say so ourselves. Along with ingredient knowledge and technique, you'll love Kim's stories and anecdotes that make cooking relatable to the lazy girl in all of us. And because taste testing is crucial before trying out new eats on your guests, you get to enjoy the feast (labor free) along with some yummy passion fruit margs on the patio afterward. Here's to barbecue never be boring again.
