What do Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, and Ingrid Bergman have in common, aside from being Hollywood beauties? They were all dripping in brilliant Bulgari jewels! In the event that you were just a little curious about how enchanting these rocks really are, The de Young Museum will be hosting the sparkling jewels in an exhibit titled The Art of Bulgari: La Dolce Vita and Beyond, with pieces dating as far back as the Hollywood Golden Age.
Over 150 pieces will be on-hand for us to marvel starting Saturday, September 21 through mid-February. The hottest bauble on display? We'd say it's an extraordinary, three-serpent bangle, that until now has been kept off the radar — so don't let it slither away before viewing. The exhibit will be the Bulgari bijous' U.S. debut, and us S.F.ers are the first to peep the glint! Obviously, we're charmed!
