Bad news: It appears Alexander Skarsgård has got a lady. Good news: It appears she might be amazingly cool person, Ellen Page. Apparently, Skarsy has been dating his costar in The East for a year, and somehow we are just hearing about it now. We wouldn't have wasted so many hours of sleep dreaming about our future lives with Skarsgård taking us to football games, singing us some tunes in his native language, and maybe cooking us shirtless dinners had we known it'd never happen.
We had a feeling something was going on when they attended the Stanley Cup finals together, and our feelings weren't hurt when they cuddled at a red carpet premiere, but now that The East's director, Zal Batmanglij tweeted a picture of the two looking seriously couple-y, we're starting to believe the buzz. According to Batmanglij , this photo reminds him of when they'd all lie in the grass listening to piano music. Something along the lines of "aww" is probably appropriate, but we're too busy trying to comfort our wounded hearts. In the meantime, we'll swallow our pride and send out our best to the couple.
