If the rumours are to be believed, J.Crew is planning big things for its London takeover this fall. Everyone’s favourite U.S. import will be opening its doors on Regent Street, in the same space Burberry occupied until recently. The latest whispers surrounding the brand are that they are also looking for locations for not one, but five different formats of stores. There is even talk of a standalone menswear shop.
We find it hard not to get a little carried away with this type of information. Seriously, five J.Crew stores on our proverbial doorstep! It’s almost too good to be true. Whether it's actually too good to be true remains to be seen. J.Crew isn’t saying anything. We will just have to cross all our fingers and toes till autumn. Now, that is going to be an interesting look for summer. (Drapers)
