Peep Lou Lou’s First Clothing Boutique In The District

Confession: Every time we leave a Lou Lou outpost, we either have a new bauble in hand or a new obsession to consider on the way home. And while the local mini-chain has conquered the District in terms of its accessory stores (there are three in NW D.C.), only Middleburg and Leesburg have been lucky enough to host the clothing-centric versions — until now. A new Dupont location has popped up a few doors down from the original accessory shop, and it's fully stocked with budget-friendly, breezy, colorful spring duds — think dresses and separates from Free People and Ark & Co., pastel denim, and enough prints and patterns to resuscitate your closet from a winter coma. Before you take a mid-afternoon, ahem, coffee break and head over, click through to take a peek at the new space.
