Get Out Your Best Dress For The Campfire (Ball!) This Weekend

2
The days of having a three-month summer vacation may be a thing of the past, but that doesn't mean you can't retreat back to your youth once in a while. So, if you feel like being irresponsible and responsible at the same time, we've got an event for you. This Saturday, May 18, The Children’s Oncology Services, Inc. is hosting its sixth annual Campfire Ball to help raise funds for children and teens with cancer.
Taking place at Venue One in the West Loop, guests will enjoy adult-inspired camp treats, including s’mores, tater tots, mac 'n’ cheese, and more. Local celeb bartenders will serve up signature cocktails such as "spiked bug juice," among other top-shelf libations that'll make you happy you're of legal drinking age. And if eating, drinking, and dancing is still not enough to make you feel like a kid again, head to the after-party at HUB 51 for more debauchery. Hey, at least at this juncture in your life you don't need to worry about sneaking in late.

When: Saturday, May 18, from 7 to 11 p.m.

Where: Venue One, 1044 West Randolph Street (between Aberdeen and Carpenter streets); 312-327-0111.

Cost: $100 advanced ticket; $125 at the door.

Purchase: Visit the Campfire Ball website or or call 312-235-6836.
