Awesome Sketches From The Academy Of Art's BFA Fashion Show

As we've mentioned once before, the B.F.A. Fashion Show put on by the Academy of Art University is hands-down the best runway presentation in the Bay Area. Today's the big day of the event, which will feature 16 collections by 22 student designers, and we've got a little preview of the amazing, soon-to-be-shown garb thanks to these gorgeous sketches from the rising talents. While tonight's show is invite-only (Cathy Horyn, Yigal Azrouël, and other fashion industry folks will be sitting front row!), on Saturday at 2 p.m. there will be an encore that is open to the public. For more information on the show and students, head to the AAU's blog, Fashion School Daily. But for now, click through our pretty slide-show to get some local fashion inspiration.
