Remember Lady Gaga's ARTPOP cover? That beautiful mess of bright colors on a white background? Well, she's taking it very seriously as a new beauty trend and is actually wearing the colorful makeup out of the house and on live television/Twitter. She wore the look out and about in L.A. on her way to a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, who, it turns out, also loved it so much, he tried it for himself. We can't decide who looks better, but he definitely wins in terms of facial expressions.
She also started a new Twitter fad, #ARTPOPcoverselfies, in which Little Monsters are encouraged to recreate the cover themselves and post photos. In typical Mother Monster fashion, she started it off with her own #selfie, though we think we prefer the group shot for now.
So, what do you think — will the smudged makeup look be all over the glossies next month? Was Cat Marnell right all along? Only time will tell.
