New Spot Wo Hing General Store To Open In Former Slanted Door Space

This just in from The Feast Bay Area: It seems the original Slanted Door space on Valencia and 17th Street, which has been vacant since 2002 when the top-grossing S.F. resto was relocated to the Ferry Building, will finally be occupied by something new and seemingly tasty. Owner Charles Phan—the man behind The Slanted Door, Out The Door, and Heaven’s Dog—reveals that he’s planning on opening a new eatery dubbed Wo Hing General Store, that’ll open up in September, permits willing.
