Take In SF-Centric Flicks At Top Of The Mark’s Summer Movie Series!

Thanks to the InterContinental Hotel’s new Summer Movie Series, you’ll be taking in a lot more than the stunning views at Top of the Mark this season. Kicking off next Tuesday evening, the old-school hotel will launch a unique series of movie-and-wine pairing nights. Get ready to watch iconic flicks like Vertigo, Bullitt, and Dirty Harry, which were either filmed at or around the historic hotel, while you’re cuddled up in comfy stage seating with 360-degree views of the city and throwing back tubs of custom “Mark” flavored popcorn. While sips of Chandon Brut, Domain Chandon Rosé, MacMurray Ranch Pinot Noir, and Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio will be complimentary, the $45 Gold Star Package will also score you two rounds of martinis, a trio of tasty sliders, and guac and chips. And if the price is too rich for your blood, we suggest you head downstairs, where Academy of Art students have gussied up the venue's window displays, our favorite of which documents all of the movies filmed at the famed Nob Hill hotel.
Price: $45 per person for The Gold Star Package
When: Tuesday evenings, June 21-Sept 6, wine tasting 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., featured movie 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Where: InterContinental Mark Hopkins, One Nob Hill (at California and Mason streets); 888-424-6835.
