Truth be told, I'm a t-shirt-and-cut-offs kind of girl when it comes to going out. But when I get dressed for Sunday brunch (as aforementioned, probably one of the best things anyone can do for themselves on the weekend), I really want to pull out the girliest, frilliest, cutest frock to wear. And why not? Nobody wants a black-clad, drab, I-just-came-from-the-club fellow bruncher at their white linen cloth table. Which is why this new online store, Sunday Brunch Dress Shop, is now a top contender for my hard-earned pennies. Owner Judy Kou hand-selects a top host of contemporary designers (almost all dresses hover around the 300 mark, which, if you think about it, is just a few brunch bills), including selections from our favorites Lorick and Quail. There's even a rotating gallery for emerging artists, like Portland illustrator Adrienne Vita and graphic designer Iris Schwarz (works pictured below). We think we may have just found our new online version of that dream closet we always wanted as a little girl.
