As much as you try to be good until the weekend (i.e. copious amounts of veggies and lots of H20), this is the time of the year when alfresco cocktails become tempting on the other days of the week, too. We're encouraging you to cut yourself some slack this Wednesday, June 5, as it's time for another charitable happy hour with Stimulus Social Club. With a different beneficiary each month, this time around, the focus is on the Autism Society.
The festivities will take place at the super-sleek RM Champagne Salon in the West Loop from 5:30 to 9 p.m. A $10 cash donation gets you one cocktail plus complimentary appetizers and, of course, do-gooder status. Entry is not guaranteed (this event always packs the house), so try to make this your first stop after work. Who couldn't use a drink by then?
