Let’s Play A Game: Spring Print Or Magic Eye?

Say goodbye to subtle patterns and hello to graphic knockouts. That's because our spring mainstays like florals and paisley are getting brighter, louder, and a whole lot more electrifying after the kookiest of prints ran rampant down the runways of designers like Peter Pilotto and Mary Katrantzou. Stare at any one of these wild patterns long enough, and they may just come to life. Well, not literally, but maybe in the 3-D sense, just like the Magic Eye books of your youth. Yep, bringing it way back there.
And, while we know you’d be able to spot these new spring motifs from a mile away (because they’re really that eye-popping), up close, they skew more autostereogram than luxe spring print. So, we’re going to play a little game with you. Basically, think of this as our own fashion-y version of Pictionary. Click through to guess whether the pattern you see is courtesy of a budding spring designer or ripped from the pages of our old Magic Eye books. (Oh, and if you haven’t picked one of those up in 10 years, head over to its site and enjoy a Monday afternoon zone-out.) Trust us, this challenge is not as easy as you think. Okay, let’s play!
