This Is Our Jam: Soko, "We Might Be Dead Tomorrow" (NSFW)

Soko—I Thought I was An Alien
"We Might Be Dead Tomorrow"
When we last posted about French recording artist Soko it was for the wistful “I Thought I Was an Alien” and its accompanying Spike Jonze-shot video. If you'll recall, that video featured the unlikely love story of a young woman and an alien going through the motions of a new relationship.
Soko’s newest self-directed video for “We Might Be Dead Tomorrow” continues Soko's quest to capture love in all its forms, this time with two young lovers (played by Meghan Edwards and Soko herself), who share tender moments together while the specter of death looms quietly about them. That may sound macabre, but it's under Soko's direction it's more sweet than ominous — a reminder to make the most of our fleeting time together.
