The seasons are officially changing, which means we're all taking a look at our closets and thinking "Do I even like half of this stuff?" We would love to splurge on a whole new wardrobe, obvi, but unfortunately we have to, like, eat and pay bills and stuff. Enter, SNOBSWAP, a new online luxury consignment boutique from D.C. natives Elise Whang and Emily Dang.
The concept: Sell the castoff clothing you don't wear anymore (or, ahem, never wore at all) and nab gems from other Washingtonians' closets. To celebrate the company's launch, there's a Swap & Sip party this Thursday at Tari, where you can imbibe cocktails and trade designer handbags and accessories with the city's most fashionable ladies. RSVP here and start combing your closet now — we can't think of a better (and more affordable) way to satisfy your spring shopping appetite.
When: Thursday, April 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Tari, 1525 Wisconsin Avenue NW; 202-621-7500.
