Six Hits From Capsule That Have us Jonesing for Next Fall

Yes, yes—trade shows aren't everyone's bag. Indeed, most of these buyers-meet-producers events are about as fun as a afternoon at the DMV. But Capsule, the seasonal show held in Paris, Las Vegas, and here at the Lower East Side's Angel Orensanz Center is different—in part because of the company and the surroundings and, mostly, because of great discoveries like these.
Salvor Project's Graphic New Shoe Collection—Steel-toed, patterned and Velcroed up to there, Salvor's first foray into footwear was as delicious as their scarves and Urethane-coated accessories. Guys, put some cash aside for these.
April 77 Records Scratch-Off-For-Free-Tunes Labels and Pick Pockets—What can we say? April 77's Navajo-print Perfecto jacket was a stunner, but for those with slimmer wallets and equal amounts of taste, their line of music-inspired jackets (each of which come with free tunes) and jeans with mini pockets for—you guessed it—guitar picks totally rocked us.

Yukatan Japan by way of Maine Shoe Line—Okay, maybe it's 13 years old, but since their new to us, Yukatan's winter-weather boots were the best discovery of the day. Boots like these haven't been seen since the '40s. Leave to the Japanese to bring forgotten American classics back to life.
A Nautical Line Hits the States/Nörsea—Come fall, you'll be seeing it at Opening Ceremony, Bblessing, and Smith & Butler—but we feel damned lucky to have seen these seafaring accessories and tops in the depths of winter. Ahoy!
New Non-Leather (and affordable) Bags From Shades of Griege—Really, who needs hide when you've got these guys right here. The one on the left will retail for just $150! Really, $150!
United Bamboo Makes Lower-Priced Shoes—U.B. was always in our hearts when it came to footwear. But now, thanks to their new production facilities in Brazil, these less expensive kicks—especially loving the Carly Boot for gals (under $300)—will probably wind up on our feet when seasons change.
