Yes, there are a million-and-one Earth Day events happening in San Francisco today, however we have a favorite. Both today and tomorrow local earth-friendly beauty brand Yes To is partnering with Whole Foods in Noe Valley for an amazing lineup of green events. First, there will be a garden expert showing participants how to make rooftop and window-box gardens for their homes and, for just a quarter a pop, you can load up on clusters of seeds to take home with you, with proceeds going to Yes To’s “Seed Fund,” which supports garden-growing initiatives in schools. Participants will also get entered into prize-packed raffles, indulge in product giveaways, and score 20% off all Yes To products. Of course, this being Noe Valley, there will also be plenty of activities for the kiddies, too, including a carrot logo-drawing competition and thumb-print art stations.
