According to The Telegraph, Michelle Obama helped boost luxe lingerie chain Agent Provocateur's sales after she spent $50,000 in one visit to the Madison Avenue outpost, accompanied by the Queen of Qatar, Sheikha Mozah. There are a few reasons we think this is purely rumor — mainly because it's an irresponsible move in an election year when the economy is on everyone's mind, but also because the British brand doesn't release the names of its famous customers. They are buying super-sexy undies, after all.
But okay, Telegraph — we'll play ball. If the First Lady indeed spent what equates to a sizable annual salary in the unmentionables shop, what do you think she scored? Our money's on the Classic Pyjamas, ringing up at $650 for the set, or the gorgeous French lace Matinee Kimono, which you can own for a cool $900.
