Protein Bar Opens A Second Scrumptious Location

When you can't stand the sight of another nutritionless coffee drink, Protein Bar can save you. The blended beverage spot offers customizable, high-protein drinks as well as wraps and salads. Everything on the menu is high in protein and fiber, but low in refined sugar. We love a spot that takes the guesswork out of lunchtime, because we truly have better things to do than break out the calorie calculator. Protein Bar owner Matt Matros saw a huge void in Chicago dining, and was inspired to put some good stuff into Chicago cuisine. "I started Protein Bar in Chicago as opposed to returning home to Los Angeles simply because there was no healthy option for the non-hot dog and pizza eating crowd. The active adults that run on Chicago's lakefront and practice in Chicago's yoga studios needed a healthy option for breakfast, lunch, and dinner." We like your style Matt, thanks.
Protein Bar, 352 North Clark Street; 312-346-7300.
