Learn Jam-Making, Bacon-Curing, & More (For Free!) At Pot & Pantry

Inna2
Ready to learn something brand-spankin'-new in 2012? A good place to start: kitchen shop Pot & Pantry and Mi Piace Kate's free skill-exchange workshop program.
The series, which started in August 2011, is marching on through the new year with a stellar lineup of workshops involving local makers, chefs, gardeners, bakers, farmers, and more.
And now, the 2012 lineup is out. Among this year's offerings, you'll find spring gardening lessons with Urban Veggie Starts, raw-food seminars with new foodie darling Laura Miller of Sidesaddle Kitchen, and jam-making how-tos with the locally loved INNA Jam, as well as beer-brewing, sausage-making, bacon-curing, and more. The jam-packed schedule can be found right over here.
Like what you see? Be sure to follow Pot & Pantry on Twitter to find out when the first-come, first-serve tickets are up for grabs. Then, reserve your space by laying down $10, which will be reimbursed immediately once you arrive at the workshop (a new policy that's supposed to cut down no-shows). We'll see you there!
