Join Chicago’s Dirtiest Minds At This Freebie-Packed Book Release

This Saturday night, Curbside Splendor Publishing is proud to corrupt you with Piano Rats, the lastest work from Chicago author Franki Elliot. A collection of 44 raunchy works of poetry and prose, Piano Rats has been touted as a high/low mix of all sorts. Expect honesty, sex, awkward situations, and broken rules. This is actually a re-release, since the first time Piano Rats was published it sold out (quickly). So come to Hinge Gallery this Saturday night to ensure you're not the last one left standing without a copy. From 6 to 9 p.m., you'll be treated to live screen printings by local artist Shawn Stucky, amazing guest readings, delicious drinks and snacks, and also, past-life readings by third-generation psychic Ryan Fukuda. If you still need tempting (greedy!), watch the video below to see what you're in for.

Piano Rats release party at Hinge Gallery, 1955 West Chicago Avenue (at Damen Avenue); 312-291-9313.
