Pamela Love and Spike Jonze Get Wild For Opening Ceremony

We are, of course, freaking out about Where the Wild Things Are, one of our absolute favorite childhood books that plans to spring onto the big screen this October. But little did we know the film would inspire stylish mash-ups with the likes of edgy jeweler Pamela Love and downtown It-store Opening Ceremony. Love, who did the thorny, romantic jewelry for Zac Posen's F/W 09 collection, worked with WtWTA director Spike Jonze to create a ruckus-ready gold claw necklace and a feathered piece that could be a cuff, a choker, or (we're hoping) a horned headband. Now all we need is Max's crown and we'll be ready to sail to the land of the Wild Things—or at least have something new and pretty to wear out at night. (W Editors' Blog)
