Three Fantastical Movies Inspire Us to Dress the Part

We may be getting paychecks instead of report cards, but we're still consider ourselves kids at heart—so it should be no surprise that we're eagerly awaiting the release of Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, Spike Jones' Where the Wild Things Are and Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. We may still have awhile before these movies hit theaters (Imaginarium and Where the Wild Things Are come out later this year, Alice in Wonderland in March of '10), but that doesn't mean we have to wait to mock up some seriously inspired outfits. Whether it's a Chesire grin dangling from your neck or the court shoe you always imagined playing dress-up in, indulge your inner tot and check our picks to help you stay forever young (or at least until the next Happy Hour rolls along...).Above, image from "Where the Wild Things Are".
