Exciting news for Mexican foodies! The superb, slightly high-end Nopa spot Nopalito is opening a second location this fall in the Inner Sunset. Tablehopper's got the scoop that the eatery has just signed a lease on the former Bistro 9 space at 1224 9th Avenue (at Lincoln Way). In addition to a pretty brick-walled space with a smoker on the back patio, the new Nopalito will also include more seats (80 total) than the original spot, which will hopefully cut down on the notoriously long waits for tables. Mark your calendars for a October/November opening date.
