If you think there's a typo floating somewhere around the "Jets x Marchesa" section of this headline, think again. The high-end designer is now making threads for fans of, well, tight ends — specifically for Jets fans. Teaming up with Suzanne Johnson (the team's brand ambassador and wife of Jets owner Woody Johnson), Marchesa's Georgina Chapman has come up with a bling-tastic design that "is the ultimate fusion of sport and fashion," according to Tracey Bleczinski, the NFL’s vice president of consumer products — apparel.
And we have to say, we're relieved Marchesa's turning its eye on a broader consumer range (this is like, the most affordable thing you can find from the label!), and that the NFL is turning its eye on a chicer consumer range. Question is: Where's the signature green color? Either way, it looks like Mark Sanchez is digging it. Ah, that smile...
