In the midst of all your spring cleaning and organizing, perhaps you came to the conclusion that your pad could use a bit of an aesthetic refresh, too. Local blogger Nicole Balch of Making It Lovely has all the inspiration you need to update your digs.
Balch's blog takes readers through her experiences fixing up her gorgeous 1910 Oak Park bungalow, with general decorating tips and even a little fashion (that a girl!). But what really put us into a design frenzy is her cool series called Making It Yours (MIY), in which she takes one piece of furniture through several different rooms or scenarios. To illustrate this, she created really detailed (and super-cool!) mood boards for each.
