Finding fabulous footwear is a favorite pastime of ours. And Laura Schoorl's eye-catching sandals give a new meaning to shoegazing (just peep those babies on the left). That's why we're so pumped that the Oakland-based designer will be showing her kicks, clutches, and hand-knit sweaters at a premium pop-up shop tonight!
Hosted by Berkeley boutique James Rowland Shop, the event will supply shoe lovers with punch and cake, as well as a look into Laura Schoorls' new line of madder- and logwood-dyed clothes (think homey hues of pink, nude, violet, and gray). And to step it up even more, the footwear soiree will also feature shoes, belts, and wallets by San Francisco designer Rachel Corry. These are some kicks we totally wouldn't mind walking a mile in, eh?
When: Thursday, August 30, 6 to 10 p.m.
Where: James Rowland Shop, 2447 Dwight Way (at Telegraph Avenue), Berkeley; 510-848-8180.
