We've heard of people skipping the tab, but this one is from another planet. Eater Chicago fills us in on items that have recently been stolen from Maude's Liquor Bar and Gilt Bar, two drinking and dining favorites owned by Brendan Sodikoff. We were shocked to hear about one big-ticket item getting lifted (a record player), but what really kills us are the weekly soap thefts. Dude, if you need some cash, ask a friend. Wallgreen's is just down the street! These barbaric thefts show such a lack of respect and, honestly, Chicago-ness. Have you ever swiped something from a restaurant?
